This work was conceived primarily for the benefit of students who are beginning to learn about a subject that is inherently vast and abstract. Therefore, the author deemed it advisable to strive for the greatest precision in concepts and figures, while indispensably combining doctrine with regulations and the vital facts regulated by them. Care has been taken to honestly and orientatively relate the most relevant and frequently consulted works and jurisprudence, from the initial drafting of the work to subsequent revisions, incorporating passages to facilitate the reader's access to external thought: I have always wanted to share these findings and disseminate their knowledge. All with the purpose of stimulating the effort to clarify and deepen the understanding and reflection on a fundamental subject for the training of legal professionals. After defining the notion of the obligatory relationship, one must study the different aspects and forms that this bond can take, regardless of its origin, as well as the modifications it may undergo, entirely disregarding its source; to later delve into the details of the different sources and unravel the experience and future of their operation.
