The Wishing Store

WELCOME TO THE WISH SHOP, OUR SWEETS CAN HAVE UNEXPECTED EFFECTS

The Wish Shop is a novel full of magic and emotion. A story whose characters show us that, sometimes, the biggest change can start with something as small as a sweet.

In the heart of Japan, in an ordinary city, in a neighborhood of charming and mysterious alleys, lies the Kohaku Confectionery, a very special place that is only visible at twilight.

The owner of this shop is named Kogetsu and he is not just a simple vendor. Each of the sweets he prepares holds within it a touch of magic that can heal the soul or transform the lives of the customers who dare to try them. But one must be careful, because these wonderful treats can bring many surprises…

The Wish Shop is a moving novel in which a young woman suffering over her boyfriend, a real estate agent distressed by his insecurities, a group of friends confronting the truth, and a mother overwhelmed by routine discover that the answers they seek are not in Kogetsu's sweets, but within themselves.

And while the lives of his customers are transformed, confronting them with their fears and helping them find a new path, Kogetsu also embarks on his own journey: to understand what it means to be human and why an act of kindness can change the course of a life.
